More about Ms. Dockan
My name is Jenna Dockan, and this is my ninth year teaching at Carpenter Elementary. I graduated from the University of Houston- Clear Lake in the spring of 2012 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and began my teaching career the following fall. I am certified to teach all subjects from pre-kindergarten to sixth grade. I have acquired over 400 professional development training hours throughout my career so far, allowing me to be highly qualified to teach your children.
My parents are both retired teachers, so naturally I grew up in a home that supported my love of education. Some other things I love include traveling the world, hanging out with my dogs at home, crafting candles, being outside, and exercising.
I am looking forward to an amazing school year, focusing on the positive, celebrating successes, and encouraging growth mindsets.
