Biography

My name is DeAnne Watts, and I teach Language Arts and Social Studies.  This is my 26th year to teach and my 16th year here at Carpenter.  I am from Pasadena and graduated with a degree in education from Texas A & M (WHOOP!). I have been married for almost  28 years, and my husband teaches Ag Mechanics at a neighboring school district.  I have two boys.  One just graduated from Texas A and M, and the other one is starting his junior year there.   I have a sweet Australian Shepard named Boomer who is very entertaining. If you are in my class, you will hear many stories about my family and especially Boomer. I love crafting, teaching 4th grade, and the Aggies of course.  I am excited for the coming school year!
