Meet Coach Harris

I grew up in Deer Park, TX and attended Carpenter Elementary as a student. After graduating from Deer Park High School, I attended college at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Following graduation from UTSA, I returned to the Houston area and began a career in real estate. I married my high school sweetheart, who was a teacher at the time, who convinced me to go back to school to get my teaching certification. After obtaining my certification, I started my teaching career as the coach at Parkwood Elementary and loved every minute of it. When I heard there was an opening to coach at the school I once attended, I jumped at the opportunity. I can't wait to see all of my students back in the gym.

 

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two boys, coaching my sons’ sports teams, fishing, and watching college football.
