Meet Mrs. Moore

Hi! I'm Mrs. Moore, and I am a fourth grade Math and Science teacher at Carpenter Elementary. This year will be my 29th year to teach (I know, I'm getting old) and my 22nd year in fourth grade at Carpenter. I graduated with my teaching degree from U of H Clear Lake and began my teaching career in Pasadena.  I taught there for 7 years prior to moving to Carpenter. I have been married for 24 years and have two children.  My husband is also a teacher in a neighboring school district and both my children came through Carpenter.  My daughter, Abby, is 22 and is currently working on research for childhood cancer in the Houston Med Center.  My son, Wade, is 19 and is in his sophomore year of college at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri.  He plays football for the SBU Bearcats and is working on his business management degree.  We love living in Deer Park and feel blessed to be a part of this wonderful community.  I enjoy traveling, shopping, spending time with family, and cheering at the football games.
