All About Mrs. Petty

I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Finance from the University of Houston, Clear Lake.    I completed Alternative Certification and have been teaching 21 years, 13 of those here at Carpenter Elementary.  I began my career in Pasadena where I taught 6^th, 7^th and 8^th grade Math as well as PAP 8th grade Math.

I have been married 27 years and have two daughters, 24 and 21 and a son who is 17.  We also have a dog named Shiner.  

We have land in East Texas and love to go ‘play’ with our cows, visit with family and ride fourwheelers.   I love anything farmhouse, peach tea, Mexican food and shopping at Hobby Lobby and Target.    I love teaching at Carpenter and look forward to an amazing school year.
