Meet Mrs. Johnson

Hello! I am Lauren Johnson and I am a second grade teacher at Carpenter Elementary. This year will be my 12th year teaching at Carpenter Elementary. Deer Park ISD has been my home since 4th grade. In 2007, I graduated from Deer Park High School and went to college at the University of Houston. Go Coogs! In 2015, I completed a master's degree in Teacher Leadership from Concordia University. I am married to my high school sweetheart and best friend. My husband and I have a daughter named Peyton who will be starting fourth grade this August. From the moment I left kindergarten as a student, I knew teaching was what I wanted to pursue. I am so grateful to get to live my dream! Teaching is one of my passions, and I wake up each morning excited to come to work. I truly believe children are our greatest blessings. Thank you for sharing your blessings with me this year.
