Bio

I am so excited to be the librarian at Carpenter Elementary! This is my 13th year at Carpenter and my 33rd year teaching overall. I am originally from New Mexico. I moved to Texas when I went to college at Dallas Baptist University ('91) and stayed here. My wife, Jennifer, and I have been married 29 years. We have three children, Our oldest son is teaching math at DPJH. Our middle son graduated from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor and just recently completed a semester in the Disney College Program. Our daughter graduated from DPHS in '22 and is attending Dallas Baptist University. My hobbies are reading, golf and taking students to summer camp. I also umpire girl's softball.
