Meet your Teacher!
Education:
I graduated from San Jacinto College with my associates and from UHCL (University of Houston Clear Lake) with my bachelors in education. From there I substituted in many classrooms from K-5th. It wasn't before long that I was hired at Carpenter Elementary as a support staff in the inclusion department.
My first year as a teacher I taught in 4th grade Math and Science.
For 7 years I taught 2nd grade where I taught all subject matter.
This year (2023-2024) I will be teaching 1st grade for 3 years.
This will be my 11th year teaching at Carpenter Elementary!
A little about me:
My husband I and have been together for 15 years. We do not have any children, but we do have three fur babies that we love dearly. We frequently volunteer at animal shelters on the weekends.
Hobbies:
I'm a person who loves the outdoors. I take my dogs for walks daily and enjoy hiking. I also enjoy getting crafty with my Cricut, painting, drawing, scrap booking and photography.
